. The species is named after the late Linda Goh. She was an Assistant Director at the National Parks Board and was overseeing the Comprehensive Marine Biodiversity Survey for the government. She was instrumental in making sure the project progressed smoothly and ensured its success. Beyond this, she was a good friend and a lovely person to work with. Her sudden passing in 2021 was a tragedy for both the agency and conservation in general. The name is used as a noun in apposition.
