reported this species from compost and grass piles, leaf and ground litter, and from old deserted beaver lodges. In New Brunswick, adults were sifted from compost and among cobblestones along a river margin. Other individuals were collected at a mercury-vapor light and during a late afternoon aerial flight. Adults were collected in May and June.
