The herbarium sheet (K000245672) is a complete specimen possessing roots, culms, leaves, branches and the inflorescence with an additional illustration and short description probably by Haines in his own handwriting. The specimen on the other sheet (K000245671) lacks the lower portion. This specimen also bears pencil sketches of the parts of the sessile and pedicelled spikelets and short description of these structures probably by Haines.
