According to Cheeseman (Op. cit), J.D. Hooker in the protologue accidentally omitted the locality of Mt Alta, and then the Mt Brewster locality was credited to Hector and Buchanan. Cheeseman (Op. cit) also mentioned that Hooker amended the mistake in
