wurde W. Schedl von Michael Ruach, dem für dieses Glashaus zuständigen Gärtner, erstmals auf das Vorkommen der Zikade aufmerksam gemacht. Später wurden die Saugschäden am Baum so stark, dass M. Ruach biologische Bekämpfungsmittel gegen die Zikade einsetzte.
