<paragraph id="6D8F12C837437AABAC853CA4F71A648F" pageId="214" pageNumber="215">This species, also known as the &quot;Puritan Tiger Beetle&quot;, is now restricted to two areas, one along the Connecticut River in southern Massachusetts and Connecticut, the other one along the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland (Pearson et al. 2006: 170, 193). It formerly occurred along the Connecticut River as far north as central New Hampshire.</paragraph>
