This species differs from others mainly in characteristics of the male genitalia. The male median lobe is relatively unmodified, short and abruptly narrowed apically in ventral aspect (

). This is a pale species with the head and pronotum yellow and the elytron evenly dark orange. The basally broad and apically strongly narrowed median lobe (
