One oesophageal gizzard in 67. Four or five septa variably thickened, with thickened septa 6/7 attached externally to the gizzard. Dorsal blood vessel double in segments 410, 11, 12; double when crossing septa; single after segment 10, 11 or 12. Two or more small nephridia per segment (may be missing in some posterior segments). Testes and their funnels in the species earlier accredited to this genus in holandric arrangement, in presently described new species these are proandric. Description based on

Annulation of pre-clitellar segments present; 13 usually simple, 49, 10 ringleted, with 24 ringlets annulated or not, with an external segmental subdivision; first ringlet may be longer than second. Postclitellar segments may be externally subdivided, or not. Setae: minute and irregularly placed; on preclitellar segments, may be recognizable under high magnification (120250×) and only as a few pairs of

Spermathecae small, present or absent, often deeply embedded in body tissue; variably shaped, paired or multiple; in the majority of species they are close to septa
