Several turiniid taxa have been described (e.g., Märss

2007) but variation of scale form is not precisely known. Some of the scales from

|
<collectingRegion box="[1001,1107,1641,1667]" country="Russia" name="Chukotka" pageId="12" pageNumber="557">Chukotka</collectingRegion>
|
|
are tentatively referred to three of the current turiniid species.
