<paragraph pageId="0" pageNumber="62878">This species is native to parts of south-eastern South Australia. It is frequently introduced elsewhere, either as an ornamental tree, a windbreak or for timber plantations. It easily escapes from many of these plantings and is now regarded as an environmental weed in other parts of Australia. It has also naturalised overseas in southern Africa, California (U.S.A.) and Hawaii.</paragraph>
