Adults were captured during June, July, and August in Lindgren funnel traps in a hardwood forest, an eastern white cedar forest, an old red oak forest, an old silver maple forest, an old-growth red pine forest, an old-growth northern hardwood forest, and an old mixed forest. This species is associated with hardwood trees such as wild cherry (
