described the prefemur of the ultimate legs as having 5 parallel rows of spines: two ventrolateral (4 and 7 spines), two ventromedial (6 and 7) and a single dorsomedial row (4–5). In contrast, the prefemur of ultimate legs have large, irregularly arranged spines in our examined specimens.
