Forewing narrow and almost twice the length of hindwing. Hairbrush concealed on dorsal surface of inner margin of hindwing, glandular area on lateral surfaces of T2–3. Aedeagus sigmoid and distinctly longer than wide. Caecum long and turned downwards. Saccus undeveloped. Vinculum sigmoid. Valvae asymmetrical, with long and thick ventral setae. Uncus bilobed, flatenned dorso-ventrally. Female ninth tergite entirely sclerotized, bursa copulatrix round, and ductus seminalis arising from ductus bursae.

The omission of the “h” in the word “trichos” probably constitutes a lapsus calami. However, in the absence of clear evidence of inadvertent error in the original publication, it did not need correction (ICZN, article 32.5.1). But
