overlapping, 23-seriate, fusiform to cylindrical with round ends, slightly curved, multi septate, strongly constricted at the septa, narrow towards the both ends, enlarged at the middle cells, smooth-walled, hyaline, with small guttules, surrounded by a distinct, thick, mucilaginous sheath.
