Cell is about 15 μm long and dorso-ventrally flattened. The cell is anteriorly narrow and posteriorly slightly pointed with hyaline margins. The cell has a shallow groove on the ventral side. One emergent flagellum is slightly longer than the cell and emerges from the reservoir in the right side of the cell. The nucleus is in the left side of the cell. The cell moves by gliding with the flagellum directed forwards. One cell found.
