Clypeus and frons microreticulate, dull, sparsely punctulate, punctures separated by about 13xpd, size about 1xef. Anteocellar sulci deep. Ocelli distinct.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="7D6036F8FFC7FF91FF53075BFD62FA3F" blockId="23.[151,1436,386,2012]" pageId="23" pageNumber="24">Pronotum microreticulate, dull, cordate, widest in front of middle; anterior angles obtuse, posterior rectangular; sides finely margined, weakly crenulate; anterior margin shallowly arcuate over median 3/4, with narrow hyaline border; discal reliefs with punctures about 1xef, interstices about 13xpd; anteriorly and posteriorly punctures much larger, about 4xef; with impressions as follow: median anterior and posterior, very deeply confluent, forming median groove; a deep anterior and very large, deep oval posterior admedian; and a large anterior and smaller deep posterior adlateral on each side; foveae punctate, but not markedly; punctures on discal reliefs without discernible setae.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="7D6036F8FFC7FF91FF5306B3FAF0F99F" blockId="23.[151,1436,386,2012]" pageId="23" pageNumber="24">Elytra dull, non­carinate, series deeply striate­impressed, sides weakly arcuate, apices separately rounded; sutural apices slightly obtuse; sides smooth, weakly explanate; posterior declivity gradual. Serial punctures moderately large and deep, about 1xpd of largest pronotal punctures, interstices about 1xpd, or less; without granules. Intervals raised, width on disc about 12xpd. Most punctures without a discernible seta.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="7D6036F8FFC7FF91FF530513FB20F97F" blockId="23.[151,1436,386,2012]" pageId="23" pageNumber="24">Metaventral disc rather flat, with midlongitudinal impression in basal 1/2. Thoracic ventrites and abdominal ventrites 15 clothed with dense setae except glabrous midlongitudinal prosternal ridge, glabrous dull mesoventral plaques and small glabrous shining inverted V­shaped basomedian area on metaventrite in front of intercoxal sternite. Ventrite 6 shining, with sparse setigerous punctures across distal 1/2.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="7D6036F8FFC7FF91FF5305F3FB85F8AF" blockId="23.[151,1436,386,2012]" pageId="23" pageNumber="24">Females with wide explanate elytral margin, continuing to and widest at sharply rounded posterior angles, apices truncate, conjointly forming line perpendicular to longitudinal axis of elytra.</paragraph>
