European. Extremely rare species (Fig. 9) which was known from the type locality in Sweden (

The Karelian specimen was collected in

type sprucedominated forest. Immature stages are unknown. Generally,

larvae develop in webs on the surface of fungal mycelium and moulds in rotten wood. The larvae pupate in silky cocoon (
