Antennule has seven segments and terminal aesthetascs on the fifth to seventh segments. Antenna has six segments, the fourth without setae. Mandible with protuding

. Maxillule with proximal endite with four teeth and distal endite with nine teeth. Exopods of thoracopods (Th) 1 to 7 with three to six segments; epipod absent on Th 1 to Th 3; the first and second segment of the endopods of Th 1 to Th 7 with a plumose dorsal seta each. Male Th 8: very large, twice as long as wide; small endopod with two setae; exopod longer than endopod, longer than wide and recurved anteriorly; trapezoidal basipod with a terminal seta; the basal region of the penial complex supports four lobes: inner lobe, outer lobe, dentate lobe and small lobe; rounded inner lobe completely integrated into the basal region; the small lobe is in close contact with, but independent of, the inner lobe and with small dorsal teeth; outer lobe is twice as long as wide and covered at the end of the small lobe; the dentate lobe is smaller than the inner lobe. Female Th 8 very large, with two segments: the second segment with three long terminal setae. No pleopods. Sympod of uropod with subequal spines, the distal spine twice as long as others; endopod with four spines and one spinous process and three apical setae; exopod with 12 setae.
