Head with ocellar setae I present, arising in front of fore ocellus in a transverse line with II; III arising outside ocellar triangle; postocular setal pairs I and II arise behind hind ocelli, pairs III and IV near posterior margin of eyes; mouthcone not extending beyond posterior margin of pronotum; compound eyes with pigmented ommatidia ventrally. Antennal segment II with inner dorsal apical seta short, with six rows of microtrichia dorsally but none ventrally; III–VI with 4 to 5 rows of microtrichia on both surfaces.
