from Central Africa, from which it is distinguished by its longer, fused ventrocaudal setose lobes that are oriented obliquely posterodorsad and are apically rounded. In addition, the harpagones are not tapering, but parallel-sided, with mesally elongating cavity forming spoon-like processes.

Male. Wing membrane unicolorous pale grey without spots or pattern. Maxillary palp segment I shortest, segment II longer, segments III and IV equally long, segment V as long as sum of segments I–IV. Head dorsum pale brown with 7 similarly coloured warts. Swollen setal warts absent from proepisternum. Each protibiea with 2 spurs. Protarsal claws asymmetrical, laterally flanked by setal bundle.
