Cells are 2325 μm long, oblong but with a narraw anterior part. A small ingestion apparatus is visible subapically near the canal. The cells have a strongly ridged dorsal groove, which runs along the right lateral side of the cell. One flagellum emerges from the flagellar canal and is slightly longer than the cell. The reservoir is located on the right ventral side of the cell and the nucleus is in the middle or posterior part of the cell. The cells move by gliding. Description based on two cells.
