Body oval to elongate.Rostrum extended apically, with one, two or three longitudinal carinae or lacking carinae. Eyes spherical or elliptical, not emarginate. : ovipositor short and wide, hemisternites strikingly short and delicate, unarmed, without distinct toothed plates, with only numerous setae or small preapical stylus. Lateral and median rods very short, median rod reaching about half of the length of lateral rod. Transverse bar invisible.
