on posterior half of mesoscutum: coriaceous to rugulose, at most with fine irregular longitudinal sculpture. Sculpture of anterior half of mesoscutellum: rugose-punctate. Thin median foliaceous lamella on propodeum: absent.

is derived from the prince character in the book The Prince and the Pauper by Mark Twain in reference to its similarity to

. This name is to be used as a noun in apposition.
