The type-material was made up of three males and six females parasites from the small intestine of one

n° 418, from Ife. Baylis description was not illustrated but he revealed that there is a left ala about 80 µm wide in the male and 4050 µm in the female plus 12 cuticular ridges. In the material examined, the left ala was visible in one male (slide 144) and three females (slides 147, 148). Therefore this is the material which must be considered as the type-material of

. In the male the SpL/ BL is 19.9%. In the females the vulvar alae are absent and the vulva is situated at 170200 µm from the caudal extremity. The left ala was not visible in the remaining males and females. In the two males (slide 142) the SpL/ BL was 13, 13.1%. In the three females (slides 142, 143 and 147) two lateral vulvar alae, slightly displaced ventrally, were present and the vulva was situated more distally, at 120150 µm from the caudal extremity. Therefore these specimens may belong to another species, coparasite with
