. The species is named in honour of my colleague, Dr Gabriel Chişamera, reknown specialist in birds and small mammals, as a sign of sincere friendship.

. Carapace, 0.48 entire body length, covered with numerous tubercles placed either side of mid-dorsal ridge; maxilliped 2 with 2 small tubercles on carpus, 1 tooth on distal margin of propodus, short dactylus; pereopod 2 with digitiform dactylus; uropodal peduncle 2.1 pleonite 6 length, equal rami.
