Brownish yellow, medium-sized crane fly. Antenna medium long, reaching slightly beyond frontal margin of prescutum if bent backwards. Thoracical pleuron yellow with brownish smears. Wing with three rounded spots and darkening along cord. Venation typical for subgenus. Outer gonostylus with distinctly widened, beakshaped distal part, inner angle of which with acute tip, outer margin rounded. Inner gonostylus fleshy, nearly reaching posterior margin of outer gonostylus, both ends slightly narrowed. Paramere long and narrow, reaching beyond distal end of gonocoxite, but not reaching tip of penis, which is simple, long and narrow.

brownish yellow, dusted with brownish gray frontally and covered with sparse medium-long erect brownish setae. Eyes widely separated dorsally and nearly reaching each other ventrally. Length of antenna

, reaching to about middle of prescutum, if bent backwards. Scape yellowish brown, elongate, nearly cylindrical, bearing few short erect setae on dorsal surface. Pedicel yellow, approximately as long as wide. Flagellum 12-segmented. Five basal flagellomeres yellow, short, oval, getting slightly narrower from first to fifth segment. Remaining flagellomeres brown, distinctly narrower and elongate. Starting from fifth flagellomere verticils very long, fourfive times longer than respective segment. Short, erect, yellowish pubescence denser on five basal flagellomeres, but nearly missing on distal segments. Rostrum semi-polished, brown with yellowish marks laterally. Palpus brown, covered with short yellowish pubescence and brown setae. Labellum yellowish proximally, brownish distally.

Sclerite polished with four distinct brown longitudinal stripes. Both median stripes distinctly brown only at both ends, but central part missing, interrupted by ground color. Lateral stripes distinct, extending onto scutal lobes. Lateral margins of lobes yellow. Scutellum yellow with pale central part. Mediotergite brown with yellow frontolateral angles. ) yellow, setose. Ninth tergite with nearly rounded posterior margin and slightly emarginate at middle. Gonocoxite elongate, with short rounded blunt apexed and setose ventro-mesal lobe. Outer gonostylus with distinctly widened distal part, inner distal-most angle of which extended into beak, tip pointapexed, outer margin rounded, posterior margin just slightly arched and darkened. Inner gonostylus fleshy, narrow, nearly parallel-sided and nearly reaching posterior margin of outer gonostylus.
