First flagellomere along margin with medial (not extending much dorsally of arista base) and anteroventral hairs longer than width of base of arista. Anterior dorsocentral approximately 1/3 length of posterior dorsocentral; closely set near posterior margin of scutum. Acrostichal setae long, widely spaced. One lateral scutellar seta.

Pleuron light yellow with large dark brown spot on yellower anepisternum. Wing dusky anteriorly, faded posteriorly and on basal half. Halter white. Legs yellow with coxae and base of femora white. Abdomen yellow with posterior region of tergite 3 to tergite 5 brown; sternite 8 brownish medially; epandrium dark brown with large anterodistal region yellow; surstylus and cercus yellowish-white.

) Cerci fused, projecting and apically spinose. Surstylus very large, higher than epandrium and longer than epandrium at base, with posterodorsal corner produced past epandrial margin; somewhat triangular with posterior subapical margin raised; apical and posterodistal margins on inner surface with small tubercle-like setae. Hypandrium with small, subquadrate lobe and short, stout arm; lobe with two apical setae, as well as one long and and one minute seta in grooved membranous region connecting pregonite. Phallapodeme rod-like with ventral shield separated apically. Pregonite weakly sclerotized with two medial setae. Postgonite very short, lobate. Basiphallus well-developed. Epiphallus emerging from sclerotized region floating below basiphallus. Distiphallus 1/3 length of phallapodeme, narrow. Paraphallus as long as distiphallus, curved, and dorsally spinulose.
