in height. Exumbrella surface smooth, with numerous scattered cnidocysts. Mesoglea uniformly thick. Velum narrow. Peripheral canal and four narrow radial canals present, latter with smooth margin; with neither centripetal nor apical canals. With four large perradial marginal bulbs. Single long, stout, proximally hollow, unbranched tentacle, with large terminal cnidocyst swelling. Manubrium essentially cylindrical, swollen, not reaching velum, not connected to radial canals by mesenteries. Mouth simple, circular, without lips; on short gastric peduncle. Without statocysts. Without ocelli on bulb of marginal tentacles. Gonads simple, interradial, entirely encircling the manubrium distally.
