Rare in studied material, a single individual occurred in a lake (S6) in Hunan.

</taxonomicName>
is associated with a sandy littoral. The species was described from
<collectingCountry id="E1DF7679FF9EFFBEFC2CD03EFBF2F526" box="[1021,1111,1375,1401]" name="Norway" pageId="15" pageNumber="16">Norway</collectingCountry>
and recorded throughout the world, but recent studies showed that in the Neotropics it is replaced by sibling-species; the taxonomic status of other tropical records is questionable. In Eurasia,
