Hyphal system dimitic; generative hyphae with clamps, 24.5 μm wide, hyaline, thin-to slightly thick-walled, rarely branched; skeletal hyphae colorless, 2.56 μm wide, thick-walled, unbranched. Hyphae in the stipe trama similar to that in the pileal context. IKI, CB; tissues unchanged in KOH.

Basidia clavate to cylindrical, with 4 sterigmata and a basal clamp, 2335 × 46 µm, basidioles dominant, in shape similar to basidia, but slightly smaller. Gloeocystidia common, thin walled, cylindrical to subcylindrical, usually swollen distinctly in the middle and with obtuse apex, 2535 × 610 µm; Pilocystidia hyaline, clavate to cylindrical, swollen near the base, apical narrowing, 2555 × 511 µm; Caulocystidia almost cylindrical, more or less constricted, 40100 × 610 µm. Basidiospores ellipsoid to broadly ellipsoid, hyaline, thin-walled, smooth, IKI, CB, (4)4.26.5(7) × 34.5(5) µm, L = 4.98 µm, W = 3.65 µm, Q = 1.632.22, Qm = 1.36 ± 0.15 (n = 120/4).
