There are only a few distinct characters for separating species, such as the presence of setae

, the number of setae and solenidia on the palptarsus, the number of setae on femora IIV, tibia III and tarsi III, and the structure of peritremes. For most of species we need to rely on the relative length of idiosomal setae. Comparative characters of known species are listed in
