Chromosome set is 2n = 8. The chromosomes AB and CD are metacentric, chromosome EF—submetacentric, chromosome G—telocentric. The centromere regions of all chromosomes are characterized by distinct dark bands. Almost in the middle of chromosome G are two thick dark bands between which a dark thin band is visible as a species marker (
