—The male

of this species was collected in the Santa Fé Mountains of New
<collectingCountry id="F30FFD81494BA02A6713FE83FA32513B" box="[1339,1432,749,775]" name="Mexico" pageId="7" pageNumber="33">Mexico</collectingCountry>
, according to Camerons (1901) original publication (but not found on the
<typeStatus id="54A303B3494BA02A61D5FF7CFBC95110" box="[1021,1123,786,812]" pageId="7" pageNumber="33" type="holotype">holotype</typeStatus>
labels). Unfortunately, we have been unable to locate any mountains by this name. It is possible that the recorded locality refers to mountains surrounding the city of Santa Fe; however, this would be a rather large range extension compared to the known distribution of this species.

We have two additional male specimens that appear to be very similar morphologically to
