|
|
Body medium to large. Frontal rostrum slightly or distinctly wider than scapus. Pronotum rather short, anterior margin distinctly narrower than posterior margin. Tegmina rather long, over apex of abdomen; hind wings distinctly longer than tegmina. Male tegmina with long transverse stridulatory vein and long apical area; mirror almost as long as wide, with 1 dividing vein. Metanotal gland well-developed, almost square large concavity. Fore tibia strongly swollen at tympana; external tympanum ovoid; internal tympanum with a slit-like opening on posterior side. Male supra anal plate with sclerotized lateral part and short setae area; subgenital plate rather short, with posterior margin more or less widely rounded. Genitalia well-developed, epiphallus distinctly transverse, with V- or U-shaped posterior margin; lateral lobes of epiphallus distinctly longer than length of medial lobes; epiphallus parameres sclerotized and various; rami rather long and wide.
