Zooids with small zone of proximal gymnocyst, salient knobs beside proximolateral corners of orifice, and elliptical or circular opesiules. Orifice dimorphic, larger in ovicellate zooids. Spines and avicularia lacking. Ovicell distally granulate, with smooth proximal area; sometimes almost entirely smooth, with large umbo.
