Area between antennal tubercles and upper eye lobes with ochraceous pubescence interspersed with white pubescence. Vertex with ochraceous pubescence. Eyes with lower lobes moderate-sized, oblong; narrowest area connecting upper and lower eye lobes 3 ommatidia wide. Genae slightly longer than wide, about 1.7× as tall as lower eye lobes; moderately coarsely, confluently punctate close to eye, gradually finer, sparser toward smooth apex; with short, sparse, whitish setae. Antennal tubercles prominent, widely separated; inner side of apex with moderately large, blunt projection, slightly emarginate at its apex; with short, sparse, white setae, except for ochraceous band centrally, continuing close to the lower eye lobe. Antennae 1.9× elytral length; reaching elytral apex at about middle of antennomere VIII; scape with deep, oblique groove near base, except for central area of dorsal and ventral sides, finely, moderately abundantly punctate (sparser toward apex); scape, pedicel and antennomeres with yellowish-white pubescence, except for brownish pubescence on part of distal third of antennomeres V–X/VI–X (pubescence distinctly denser on ventral side of antennomere III); antennomeres III–VIII with erect, short, thick, dark setae ventrally (shorter and sparser toward VIII); antennomere III distinctly swollen, thicker than antennomeres IV–XI, but more slender than largest width of scape. Antennal formula based on antennomere III: scape = 0.57; II = 0.10; IV = 0.55; V = 0.53; VI = 0.50; VII = 0.48; VIII = 0.46; IX = 0.42; X = 0.46; XI = 0.60.
