This new species can be easily separated from other known species of the genus by the aedeagus with a large hook and a fan-shaped plate distally.

). Wingspan 12.0 mm. Head yellowish brown, frons yellowish white. Labial palpus with second segment whitish yellow on basal 2/3, distal 1/3 becoming yellowish brown on outside, whitish yellow on inside, pointed at apex. Antenna with scape grayish brown dorsally, yellowish brown ventrally; flagellum alternately grayish brown and yellowish brown. Thorax and tegula dark brown. Wings brown; forewing with an inverted triangular, whitish yellow spot on costa subapically, with single blackish brown dot at middle and end of cell; cilia concolorous with wings. Legs whitish yellow.

Uncus wide basally, becoming narrower from base to 1/3, nearly parallel-sided from basal 1/3 to 2/3, distal 1/3 expanded, with long dense setae. Gnathos with basal 1/3 sclerotized, distal 2/3 membranous. Tegumen inverted V-shaped. Valva narrow in basal 1/3, elongate elliptical in distal 2/3, with a setose carina at basal 1/3 near ventral margin; transtilla slightly dilated distally. Sacculus triangular, separate from valva, distally curved and pointed upward. Saccus triangularly shaped, pointed anteriorly. Juxta broadly U-shaped; lateral lobes slender, extending outward distally. Aedeagus stout, distal 1/3 extremely sclerotized, with a large hook curved ventrad and a nearly fan-shaped plate.</paragraph>
