This species is typical of the genus but differs from all other congeners by: unicolourous green but slightly red brown on fore femur near knee and fore tibia around tympanal area; tenth abdominal tergite with posterior margin emarginated laterally, swollen in the middle, deeply and narrowly notched; cercus long with two lamellate teeth of subacute apices.
