Integument black; elytra reddish with the apical fourth black. Head, pronotum and sides of prothorax opaque, glabrous, finely, densely reticulate. Clypeus with dense, coarse punctures. Genae 1/3 as long as lower eye lobes. Mandibles shiny, coarsely rugosopunctate.

Scape cylindrical, glabrous, opaque, densely, deeply reticulate. Segments 3 to 5 shiny, punctation and pubescence sparse; 6 to 11 finely pubescent, 6 carinate; 6 to 10 weakly expanded at outer apex. Scape and segment 4 subequal in length, about 1/3 shorter than segment 3; segments 3 and 5 to 9 subequal in length; 11 little longer than 3.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8B8BF511195E3C06FEC39583B35BF8C7" blockId="2.[264,1323,1398,1905]" pageId="2" pageNumber="57">Prothorax barely broader than long, somewhat rounded at sides, diverging posteriorly from anterior margin to behind middle, then attenuate to posterior margin, maximum width just behind middle. Prosternum opaque, finely, irregularly rugoso­punctate, with whitish, very short pubescence, more conspicuous at middle and on the intercoxal process.</paragraph>

Metasternum sparsely pubescent with coarse, shallow opaque punctures at sides. Urosternites micro­corrugate, opaque, clothed with very short, whitish pubescence. Fifth urosternite rounded at apex.</paragraph>

Elytra opaque, partially exposing reticulation of under surface, almost glabrous, with sparse fine punctures and reddish, suberect setae, more conspicuous at apical half; apical fourth finely asperate­punctate. Epipleura weakly sinuous behind humeri, covering metepisterna.</paragraph>

Meso­ and metatibiae slender, laterally impressed, sinuous, almost impunctate, sparsely setose on ventral side. First segment of hind tarsi longer than the following segments combined.</paragraph>
