Test piriforme plus ou moins allongé orné de nombreuses fines côtes longitudinales, tronqué dans sa partie orale par un plateau pétaloïde à stries radiales concentriques et muni ou non d’une épine basale. Paroi calcaire hyaline à structure radiale. Ouverture petite et ronde. Endosolen long, cylindrique fin et axial, évasé à la base et bordé par une collerette striée. L’ouverture peut porter un
