Wood and Yin (1986) and Wood and Bright (1992) both listed the

as being deposited in IZAS. The
<typeStatus id="B5658805FFE2FFD2FEEBFAD2FE15FA90" box="[355,439,1282,1304]" pageId="10" pageNumber="248" type="holotype">holotype</typeStatus>
and all
<typeStatus id="B5658805FFE2FFD2FD88FAD2FDFEFA9F" box="[512,604,1282,1303]" pageId="10" pageNumber="248" type="paratype">paratypes</typeStatus>
are in the NMNH. Wood and Yin (1986) diagnosed the species as without a frontal fovea and tubercle but described the species as with both attributes. However, the male

has the frontal fovea and tubercle. A mixed type series of both
