Body small to medium, form robust, apterous. Middle ocellus absent, lateral ocelli absent or inconspicuous, with poorly defined. In male, ninth abdominal tergite enlarged, cuculli-form, posterior area obviously divided into 2 spine-shaped lobes, distinctly curved ventrad, emargination between them deep and triangular; subgenital plate without styli, posterior margin with a deep and wide concavity and with apices digitate laterally; cerci short. In female, subgenital plate broad and long.
