: Egg distinctly marked on all surfaces by flat, elongate, narrow, quadrate cells with moderately broad, double­ridged transverse walls (Figs 576, 579581); longitudinal walls form prominent ribs (Figs 576, 579 &amp; 580). Aeropyles elevated, openings moderately large (Fig. 580), present on all surfaces apart from top, wide side of egg (Figs 579 &amp; 580). Rosette cells in micropylar area slightly recessed; area adjacent to micropyles raised (Fig. 578). Chorion smooth but shallowly wrinkled (Fig. 581); more deeply wrinkled on anterior pole (Fig. 578).
