The species is named in honor of the expedition leader of ANDEEP III, Dr. Eberhard Fahrbach, who sadly passed away last year.

Rostrum with serrated lateral keels, anterior margin without setae. Antennula article 1 width more than half of rostrum width and length half of rostrum length.
