. Face black, with contrasting light compound eyes and ocelli; ventral area of clypeus, base and a medial line of labrum medium brown. Tegmen semi-transparent with a black medial band from behind basal third to tip, forming narrow black extensions on both sides (anteriorly and posteriorly) along the cross veins to about R/RS and CuP; hind wing semi-transparent; main veins brown; crossveins blackish and bordered on both sides by dark bands.

Female. Seventh abdominal sternite wider than long, shorter than preceding sternites. Subgenital plate as in other species of the genus with wide base and roughly ovoid apical area; basal to central area on both sides with a curved carina that gives the impression as though wider rounded areas were flipped over the more central area, furrowed in midline; in about center with a small extended sclerite; apex bi-triangular with medial excision, surfaces of the angles with rather narrow oval swellings (
