Body reddish-brown, with paler intersegmental membranes between abdominal tergites III–VII; mouthparts, antennae and legs yellow-brown to brown; apical segment of maxillary palpi and tarsi yellowish. Body glossy; head with fine microreticulation, slightly coarser between bases of antennae, distinctly finer in middle portion; neck with large mesh-like sculpture; pronotum with very dense and coarse isodiametric microsculpture, finer in mediobasal portion; scutellum with fine transverse meshes; abdomen with dense transverse microreticulation.

<paragraph id="8BF236C8FFFBF841FF35FC280069FA4B" blockId="3.[151,1437,469,1971]" pageId="3" pageNumber="239">Head 1.6 times as broad as long, with distinctly elevated portion between bases of antennae and slightly elevated infraorbital portions; supra-antennal proturberances narrow, strongly elevated, diagonally stretching from base of antennae to about level of apical margins of eyes; medioapical depression deep and wide, narrowing posteriad toward relatively shallow or deep subrectangular interocellar depression; anteocellar foveae distinct, very narrow, diagonally stretching anteriad toward level of middle or anterior third of eyes; temples short, convex, more than three times as long as longitudinal length of eyes. Eyes moderately large, very convex. Ocelli large, located below level of posterior margins of eyes, distance between ocelli about as long as distance between ocellus and posterior margin of eyes, or distinctly longer.
