) brownish black, moderately shining, with frons, labrum, mandible, antennae reddish brown; maxillary palpi, legs brownish light red; elytra reddish black but sutural reddish brown; abdomen reddish brown, posterior margin of tergite VII and VIII brownish light red; tergite IX and X brownish yellow.

<paragraph blockId="1.[151,1437,690,2013]" pageId="1" pageNumber="279">Head slightly longer length than width, HW/HL = 0.98, widest at the basal 1/3 of head; frontal area flattened; surface coarsely and punctate; punctation sparser on frons and vertex, becoming denser toward posterior and lateral margins, with dark brown setae. Eyes small and slightly protruding; longitudinal diameter about 1/5 as long as temple in dorsal view.
