Clypeus flat, slightly protruding, almost 1/4 head length, surface impunctate and coriaceous; anterior margin truncate or shallowly emarginate in middle. Epistomal suture with lateral portions incurved and running posteriorly. Vertex weakly convex, definitely distinguished from neck; with mid-longitudinal suture distinct.
