General body coloration shiny black except brown scape, but proximally yellow-brown; first four-five proximal antennal flagellomeres lighter (light brown) dorsally than ventrally (dark brown), remaining flagellomeres dark brown on both sides; pedicel, labrum, and mandibles yellow-brown/reddish; glossa, maxillary and labial palps, and tegulae yellow.
