In the original literature, Heller mentioned the locality "Sandakan, Borneo", but didn't indicate the number of type series. We borrowed a male from SNSD bearing a type label and perfectly fitting with the type locality. We herein designate this specimen as lectotype for the purpose of fixing the name to unique name-bearing type.
